We do indeed offer school programmes with host families. Our homestay families are vetted by Spark and have worked with us for several years. Students are usually paired off per family. They should have their own private room in the house or can share it with another student from their school if they decide to stay in pairs. The family usually has a child of a similar age to the students and either live in walking distance or a short car journey from Spark!
- What sort of activities does the family do with the students?
This depends per family. In the past, students have done: family parties, hanging out with local children, beach afternoon, trips to the local area.
